Advanced Member Britain Posted September 6, 2010 Advanced Member Report Share Posted September 6, 2010 If I have a solid voxel object, is there and easy way to make a shell ( hollow it out) with a specific wall thickness? Thanks
philnolan3d
I've never actually used it but it's called Extract Skin, find it by right-clicking on your object in the VoxTree. I don't think you can control the thickness but there are two options that are clean and slow or fast and a little sloppy.

Thanks Yes...Right-click the layer and select "Extract Skin" > Hull using Voxels or using Surface...as Phil mentioned, and yes, you have a setting to adjust the thickness.
