Advanced Member ghib Posted November 15, 2010 Advanced Member Report Share Posted November 15, 2010 This old bug is back. I thought we'd squashed this one hmm.. BUILD:3.5.04D (SIMP DX64) BUG DESCRIPTION:Syncing to external editor and deleting layers creates new Random layer in 3DC. STEPS TO REPRODUCE: Send to Photoshop using Edit All Layers in Ext Editor Delete a layer or rename one Delete a Layer and create a new one or rename a layer (bug doesn't always happen with rename) Save Layers.psd back in 3DC there will be a new UNWANTED layer created You have to love how these Legacy bugs keep coming back... On a more serious note. Could we Please Please Please (that's a triple PPP) have a look at why these legacy bugs keep creeping back into the later releases. It's driving me crazy (this isn't the only one).

Andrew Shpagin
Also as a compensation to all struggles of all peoples who like to paint in 3DC using projection I improved projection painting a LOT - soft edges of projection + good quality of getting back + projection through if need. Advanced Member ghib Posted November 16, 2010 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted November 16, 2010 Oh this is absolutely fantastic news Andrew. A colleague of mine mentioned this a while ago and I had to admit that I didn't know if there was a way to turn on fade on edge with projection painting. Thanks again, any improvement in the PPP side of 3DC is welcome here
