Member Promethias Posted July 5, 2011 Member Share Posted July 5, 2011 I did this rabbit with 3d coat and scupltris same as my seahorse. I used some of the ideas i was given and they worked well.I will probably redo the rabbit i am not happy with his hands but i do like his face. Advanced Member Grandmaster B Posted July 8, 2011 Advanced Member Share Posted July 8, 2011 I like the models in the scene but the lighting seems very mixed up.
Member Promethias Posted July 8, 2011 Author Member Share Posted July 8, 2011 yea,im working on a new lighting setup i should have it rendered tonight,ty for your input.
Advanced Member Garagarape Posted July 9, 2011 Advanced Member Share Posted July 9, 2011 Nice model! I agree about lighting. It's a cartoonish rabbit, so may be it would be better to make the curves inside the ears more regular (a bit wavy on the shot). The puzzled expression is cool. Looking forward to seeing the next version.
Member Promethias Posted July 9, 2011 Author Member Share Posted July 9, 2011 heres a update i re did the lights, I set it up so it showed the rabbits shadow on the curtain. Advanced Member Garagarape Posted July 9, 2011 Advanced Member Share Posted July 9, 2011 Much better! A little more light on the rabbit face area may be needed. It his where we should focus, no? How did you rendered it? The card reflected on the gold cup is really well done.
Member Promethias Posted July 9, 2011 Author Member Share Posted July 9, 2011 ty for the input. I used carrara 8 to render it,I used 3 spot lights. I was getting a real bleaching problem on the cards so i lowered the front light, what would you recommend? I could put another spot and set it to only do the rabbit and use it to bring up the rabbit a bit is my idea. I give that a shot. yea the focal point is the rabbits face. Im thinking of calling the picture GET BACK IN THE HAT. a
