Advanced Member Grandmaster B Posted July 6, 2011 Advanced Member Report Share Posted July 6, 2011 Looks cool! I'm curious how this turns out in voxels. You may try MeshLab (http://meshlab.sourceforge.net/). There is an option to convert a point cloud to a mesh, i dont remember exactly, maybe you can figure it out. Never been friend with mathematics, but must admit it has a link to design.

Advanced Member spacepainter Posted July 22, 2011 Advanced Member Report Share Posted July 22, 2011 I don't know about mac apps. Pointclouds can be converted to meshes by 3DCoat or meshlab. Mocap can be used in combination with pointclouds ,but you may want to convert them first to particles in pe Softimage for effects involving physics. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Point_cloud
