  1. Right on. I loved akira too. It's pretty amazing. Thanks for telling me about how you do the clothing. I haven't attempted it yet in 3DCoat. My apologies on the assumption.
  2. Here's the link you're looking for. http://www.3d-coat.com/forum/index.php?sho...c=2265&st=0

    Interface

Oh sure. Sorry if it was poor. ----------------- I do like Shadow's interface quite a bit... While the blobs are great, you could perhaps make a compromised version between yours and Shadows? His is lean, but lacks a way to quickly distinguish which one it is (which mode). I propose using his basic layout but instead of letters, using mini icon blobs. Anyway, thanks.

    Interface

PS - Sorry for bad translation.
  5. That looks great Akira... By chance... 日本人 ですか? EDIT: Oh, I forgot to ask... How exactly did you extract the clothing from the base sculpt?
  6. I like the dockable windows, it goes a long way to really tidy up the interface and helps create more real estate to work in.
  7. Zbrush may not be hard to learn, but it's hard to retain the information without using it daily. Yes, the interface of Zbrush is annoying. After using it for years, I've finally rid myself of the need to use it, thanks to 3DCoat. So brainless you might think, but it's a personal preference. Yours is Zbrush. Mine is 3DCoat.
  8. VERY nice. Clean, professional, and good looking. I could live and work in that UI.
  9. Cool! Can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve.
  10. Yes unfortunately. 32bit OSs are very limited in this regard. I can safely say once you start sculpting in a 64bit environment, the only thing limiting you then is the amount of RAM you have.
  11. Awesome. I didn't know you were porting to Linux! Is v3 going to ship with a Linux release?
  12. While that does sound like a good idea at first. It would really need to stand out which ones were activated or not. Otherwise, at a glance, it could be hard to tell.
  13. Negative ghost rider, negative! Worst interfaces, ever!
  14. Yeah, I hear you there. I do love the green myself, but I know a lot of people think it's an odd color for interfaces. Most people seem to go for the orange/grey look. As it stand now, the themes in 3DCoat are also customizable. So I wouldn't mind if Andrew stuck with the green!
  15. What Phil and David Walters posted is what I got to thinking this morning. Small, horizontally aligned (much like it is on the top bar already), it makes sense, it's easy on the eyes, and it looks professional. Phil, in response to the lack of VS: Tabs/rooms will fill this void. Much like in Shadow's mock up. Anyway, as for colors, I'm not sure. Phil is probably on to something though.
  16. Yeah I thought not. But somehow it did. It fried two modules of mine. I'm a little paranoid when it comes to new gear. I always test everything to make sure it's good. I ran some tests on the memory when I got it, everything indicated it was fine. A few months later, I decided to run the /3GB switch (for zbrush no less), first try out with zbrush on the switch, my computer crashed hard. It would turn on, but I was getting a system beep for bad/no memory installed. Yanked those suckers out... Ran like a champ. Of course I turned off the switch after that... It was a nightmare. The RAM was still relatively new at that point. PS- I tried the ram again, and anything it was in, gave bad/no memory system beeps.
  17. That's looking pretty sweet there comrade! As for the blobs, I actually don't mind them. But if you're soliciting ideas, I will think on it for a day.
  18. No doubt. Get some rest amigo. No need to over work yourself when you're sick. The wolves (us) can wait.
  19. Just to note: On my last workstation, I had the 3GB switch destroy some of my memory.
  20. Absolutely, make sure you're in tip-top shape sir! What good is your gift if you can't see to use it? Good health to you. ...And thanks for the update. Much obliged.
  21. Hey Andrew, When do you think you'll have the first build up with the new interface?
