  1. Okay i found out it working but only with fog settings and it needs to be inverted so still it's not zdepth, maybe we should ask this feature.

    Edit. It is also works in 2021 with fog, but i found it works in different way, i cannot achieve the same result as in 4.9 to have on model depth gradient from white to black, just in gray range.


    Note you have to change shader. it won't work with matcap shader...again

    Are you sure is this correct? He wants zdepth map, but rendering composite pass by default. But i just test 3dcoat rendered all passes  the same, looks like a bug.
    3dcoat have depth pass not sure if it's the same zdepth. 

    Just tested in 4.9 it's really a bug with passes, but depth pass looks just black, do not know how to use it, in zdepth you should set distance to bake depth to black\white color

    Tested older versions of 3d Coat bug is there too. Found posts about it from 5 Years ago in the forum and bug was confirmed back then.

    I've noticed this often, I find a bug in 3d Coat come to the forum and do a search and see it was reported literally years ago, confirmed and then never fixed.

    How does that occur?

     

    doesn't bother you, during your steps after clicking on contract/expand, the freezing menu opens just on hovering without clicking on it again, this bug make me crazy

    Yes it looks much better with fillets and holes compare to moi3d. But they sell in Microsoft store what is bad. On forum they mention standalone version but still not released

     

     

  5. At first you need to calm down. Believe me zbrush interface much much worse, so you need a bit time to understand how program work.
    I think you also need to watch some video tutorials, i am recommend not official, they are too long with tone information what you do not looking. Old tutorials also work well, the main tools works the same except live clay was replaced

    The room difference only in tools panel (but you can even change that for any room), all visibility in types of model like object paint, sculpt tree, etc, you can open their windows in any rooms and switch visibility.

    You do not need anything to export in most case

    The second would be better if you showing screenshot for every problem.
