  2. About photoshop Cs5, could you provide the link of your source ? I've searched the web, and found almost nothing except the possible integration of patchmatch, a super-cloning tool
  3. 2 bugs : 1 Hide some voxels unhide all UNDO the unhide all You can't unhide again the hidden voxels 2 when i use the 'pen pressure affect radius and depth' stroke with the hide tool large chuncks of the model are hidden I'd like also to have a function to move the hidden voxels to a new layer with the same density.

  5. I'm working on animated features, and in my current workflow, when i'm sculpting a character's head, i NEED to keep the same base mesh, in order to re-use blendshapes or animation rigs. 3DC is great for concepts, or single creature, but i still need Zbrush.
  6. I missed the preset palette. It's not what i'm looking for, as it dosen't store the tool type (clay, airbrush, scrape... but only the pen presets...) i mainly use 3dc retopo tools, and not that much voxel tools. Voxel tools are aimed to concept sculpting and don't fit into my workflow. sadly. That's why i requested standart sculpt tools improvements, and a subdiv cage creation tool, like Zbrush do.
  7. I finally took some time to carve a model with 3CD 3.05. Here is my first impressions and feedback : Shaping a model with the current tool is nice. Voxel tools are Ok, but the scrape tool should work with the draw with line and draw with curve strokes type. After i use a surface sculpting tool, the surface around the brush stroke seems to be stepped I really miss a surface smooth tool I also miss Masking tools. Having the same masking tool as in the posing tool should do the job I'd like to be able to save custom brush (depth, faloff, used pen...) and to have a custom brush palette In retopo mode, i'd like to be able to create a subdiv cage by converting the current topo into subdiv and create a cage from this subdiv surface, like Zbrush do. I'd like to see the old sculpting tools improved. In my workflow, it's often important to sculpt and keep the same topology. For exemple In a film, many characters can share the same head or body topo I'd like to see cloth tools improved, with self collision and pins.
  8. 3 bugs with alpha 86 in Pixel painting mode : when i use a Draw with line or draw with strokes curve, or a stroke type whre the radius is affected, the color picker (using V) dosen't work If i draw multiple curves using the draw with lines or curves strokes, when i Undo, ALL the curves are gone, nopt only the last one. I still have a dotted stroke when i use the drawwith extrusion tool with the soft stroke option enabled. There's also one annoying thing with the picker tool : actually, it use the brush size to average the sampled colors. Could you add an option to pick ONLY the color of 1 pixel under the brush ?

I've still got 2 major bugs in depth / pixel painting mode : When i use a variable brush radius or a variable pressure stroke (in this case, the artifacts are less visible) i've got circle artifacts along the stroke. When i don't subdivide at all the model, facets are visible when i paint depth. When i clear a scene and import a new model for pixel painting for example, the pen option window don't have any visible parameters. I have to tear off the panel to gert the infos back.
  10. In Alpha 85, i imported a model with overlapping Uvs, and the Uv preview was much largre than expected

  12. I'd like to have 2 options with the tweak brush tool in topology mode : a way to change the smooth intensity. Sometimes, the smooth is too strong. A pinch brush

Hello; I encountered 3 bugs : 2 of them happens when i use my intuos 3, instead of the mouse - artefacts appear when i smooth depth on a pixel painted model, and when i use a stroke where the pen pressure affect the radius. - strokes are slashed when i quickly draw strokes with my wacom pen - still on a pixel painted model, facets appear when i use the plane tool

Thanks for this alpha !!!! just a coulpe of things : i'd like to be able to resize the brush using the RMB in the UV window. i'd like to be able to export or convert to polygons a 'cloth' model If you add some extra time, could you add a cloth rigidity parameter, and the ability to pin parts of a cloth ?
