Advanced Member kirkl Posted August 4, 2012 Advanced Member Report Share Posted August 4, 2012 "There are indications that this file is untrustworthy" I got this message when I tried to download 3.7.16a and 3.7.13. Never got this before. Perhaps somebody hacked into your site and intruded something malicios or something? Curiouce if everything is ok with those files and they are safe? ps. Although it have not found anything specific, perhaps it's just its heuristic analysis or something. Still would like to hear a comment. Contributor Tony Nemo Posted August 4, 2012 Contributor Report Share Posted August 4, 2012 At one time, Norton gave 3DC a pass but I think the betas defeat it algorithmic since of propriety (the betas are too frequent, perhaps).
Javis
The site was not hacked and nothing nefarious is occurring. Norton is reading false positives lately. I think Tony is right in that it is probably related to the frequency of updates and Norton doesn't like it.
