Advanced Member alvordr Posted January 2, 2013 Advanced Member Report Share Posted January 2, 2013 I realize you can smooth in Surface mode and it will try not to destroy your mesh, but if there is a way to improve on the smooth (as I'm sure is already being worked on anyway), such that it is completely non-destructive that would be awesome. The only way I can think this could happen is to be able to adjust a locking plane that cuts perpendicular to a very thin part of a mesh you want to smooth that "blocks" the smooth operation from destroying the mesh. Carlosan
Do you tried Artman brushes Flatten and Polish ? http://3d-coat.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=10999&hl=smooth&fromsearch=
Advanced Member alvordr Posted January 26, 2013 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted January 26, 2013 I've tried them, but not on the thin pieces. I'll have to do that and see how well it works.
