Andrew said this "I plan to polish brush engine several days more. I hope to bring it to better state and this time any feedback regarding reason of any brushing problems especially important. After that I should switch to other tasks (see requests above regarding paint room for example) and point may be lost." Here's some of the top changes that I think should be be tackled: 1. Improve the existing Hide tool in Paint Room : http://3d-coat.com/mantis/view.php?id=151 8. Make palettes useable with a tablet : http://3d-coat.com/mantis/view.php?id=1159 9. Ability to cyle through layer blending modes : http://3d-coat.com/mantis/view.php?id=1131 10. Ability to toggle on/off texture tiling: http://3d-coat.com/mantis/view.php?id=1166 For everyone else who uses (or wants to use) the paint room, what are the main issues you'd like to see resolved? Paint Past UV shells : http://3d-coat.com/m...view.php?id=705Painting past UV shells with the brush in Paint Room with a solid color covers the seam perfectly in 4.0.06.In professional experience however often photorealistic look is needed and the artist needs to work fast soCloning texture parts over the seam is unavoidable in most cases. Think of a good looking complex texture being on both sides of the seam, but completely misaligned = not continuous over the seam. So Cloning Tool is needed to make it look continuous over the seam, but it cannot perfectly cover the seam currently. I'm just not sure that they are brush engine issues. They all seem to be layers improvements or fixes. Maybe that is what Andrew will move to when he finishes his work in the brush engine code.
