Do I ever hear that. I am sick of windows, mac is also not an option (pukes). I cannot wait for the day when I can strictly use Linux on a daily basis. Member JPWestmas Posted July 11, 2010 Member Report Share Posted July 11, 2010 Do I ever hear that. I am sick of windows, mac is also not an option (pukes). I cannot wait for the day when I can strictly use Linux on a daily basis. I gave up on vista64 today and didn't feel like burning more money on an win7 upgrade that may or may not work with my motherboard/HD. So I also started to play with Ubuntu today and got some 3D apps going on it. So 3DC for linux is a .tar.gz file right. I'm having trouble with it. The bin file thing was easy enough just can't figure out how to convert the .tar.gz file and install. Got links?

Member JPWestmas Posted July 12, 2010 Member Report Share Posted July 12, 2010 Just unpack the archive tar.gz to desktop. Then after I unpack it, it's ready to use? or do I install it using the terminal?
