Member CMPharis Posted March 25, 2016 Member Report Share Posted March 25, 2016 I have a short deadline to get a 3D printed scan cleaned up and exported. But when I import there are no UV's visible in 3D Coat. I've tried other software like Maya and Mudbox and they are right there. Is it possible to import UV's with a mesh? I know you can't import FBX's so is 3D Coat not capable of a lot of these things? How do I work around it please?!

Javis
Hi, Are the UVs auto generated by the software you're scanning with? How are you importing into 3 DC? If you're going to the sculpt room there will be no UVs at all because like zbrush, the sculpt room doesn't support UVs. You need to import into the paint room to bring in the UVs. Also you can import fbx, last I tried. The question is, what are you trying to do exactly? Paint or sculpt?
