Importing objects into same reference space

I have a set of objects that I've exported individually from another program that're closely aligned. 

If I bring them into Blender, or back into the original program, the objects maintain their positions in 3D space (& thus alignment).

When bringing them into the sculpt room however in 3DC with the Import -> Import mesh for voxelisation option, they can end up anywhere. They will not be easy to align by hand. I'm sure I'm missing something in terms of my import method or settings. Any advice appreciated

Are you working in a new-fresh project ?

About values:

Geometry > Edit scene scale > are values the defaults ?

Geometry > Define Measurement units

Both apps use the same units ?

* Please try Meters /Metric and inside Blender Scale 0.1
