Member Combatkat Posted April 30, 2017 Member Share Posted April 30, 2017 I have been wracking my brain around the pose tool and can't seem to understand it. I have used line, cage, sphere and cant seem to get the result I want. I am trying to angle the foot down to create a heeled shoe. can anyone help me thank you. Contributor Tony Nemo Posted April 30, 2017 Contributor Share Posted April 30, 2017 The gradient is in the wrong place and must be made much softer (use the Shift key to soften and widen the transition). Get a gradient that goes from the heel to the top of the foot.
Reputable Contributor digman Posted May 1, 2017 Reputable Contributor Share Posted May 1, 2017 (edited) Here is a video by AbnRanger on the pose tool. I did not see him going over the Edit Pose falloff in the video, I am sure in his other pose tool videos he does. Edit Pose Falloff is what you need to adjust here. The control point types can be changed by right clicking on the control point on the curve. To adjust the pivot point of the bend, hold down the shift key to move the gizmo to the location needed. Some clean up is generally necessary. Also there is the free form cage you can select in the tool's panel. The pose tool takes some practice.
