Member MarkC Posted July 15, 2023 Member Report Share Posted July 15, 2023 (edited) I am in the process of moving all my apps to my new Mac Studio, from my Mac Pro. I installed the same version from my MP (2023.17) as the newest version didn't work. BUT the interface is all large text on the Studio for some reason. Same monitors, same resolution, only difference is the Studio is HDMI, the MP is DP. Mac Pro Mac Studio Also is there a folder I can copy over to save setting up all my materials/alphas etc..? Member MarkC Posted July 15, 2023 Author Member Report Share Posted July 15, 2023 Not sure if Migration master would work across a network. Does the Mac not need a previous version installed to do this? My Macs are networked while I am transferring over.
Carlosan
you can migrate to a new folder and then copy paste the content to new location
Member MarkC Posted July 15, 2023 Author Member Report Share Posted July 15, 2023 Sorry, do you mean migrate on the old Mac, then copy that folder to the new Mac.... I thought the migration was only done from within a new build of 3dc, and selecting a previous version....?

Reputable Contributor Solution AbnRanger Posted July 16, 2023 Reputable Contributor Solution Report Share Posted July 16, 2023 This post was recognized by Carlosan! AbnRanger was awarded the badge 'Helpful' and 1 points. I got this, too, on Windows, from the default install. Some of it was because I have a QHD (2560x1440) Monitor and adjusted the Windows text size to 125%. I switched that back to 100% and there was still the issue of a huge font size. I went into the PREFERENCES panel (EDIT menu) > THEME tab > FONT SIZE, and changed it to MEDIUM. That set it correctly. Try and see if this works for you as well.
