I can't get "Freeze" to work on surfaces in 3.5

Hi,

I'm trying to learn to use 3d coat 3.5. I need to make a mask for a voxel object. I've read the instructions. When I go into surface mode a "Freeze" tool appears. Is this the tool that the manual describes as "SfFreeze?" I don't have a "SfFreeze." Anyway, when I try to paint a mask with the Freeze tool activated nothing happens. The video tutorial mentioned something about adjusting intensity for the freeze, but I can't find any intensity settings. Am I doing something wrong? Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi there!

SfFreeze has been renamed to Freeze in surface mode. I'll let the person who now does the manual know about the manual needing a change. Thanks for the heads up. :)

To control the intensity of the Freeze tool, and some other tools in 3DC, you directly manipulate it with the RMB over and object and then drag up/down. The red/blue/green line in the center of the yellow brush circle should move correspondingly. This is your intensity. The bottom of the circle is 0%, the top 100%.

Hope this helps,

-Javis
