Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted September 9, 2011 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted September 9, 2011 There are a number of instances in 3D Coat where you want to disable symmetry, and using the Text Tool would be one of them. Same goes for constructing any abject with Primitives or the Curves tool. It often just gets in your way and causes unwanted behavior. Using he Pose tool would be another circumstance where you'd generally want to disable symmetry (temporarily). Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Javis Posted September 10, 2011 Report Share Posted September 10, 2011 I'm thinking of submitting a feature request for the text tool, "Reverse Text on Symmetry" That way the text wouldn't need to be done twice, and can correctly be applied on both sides of a mesh while painting.
