Smart Materials

In 3DCoat, Smart Materials are advanced, rule-based Physically Based Rendering (PBR) presets that automatically apply realistic textures based on an object’s geometry, such as its edges, crevices, and contours.
They significantly speed up the texturing process by eliminating manual painting for details like dirt, wear, and rust.
