Enjoyed the webinar Javis. Really cool that Andrew was in attendance.

Paul, If you are just getting started with 3D Coat you might want to check out Javis Jone's webinar Saturday morning. It should be very informative and it cost less than 5 bucks. http://www.3d-coat.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=3696
-
Ken if you didn't recieve an email on how to connect to the webinar you might want to send Javis (geothefaust) a private message. You can also send questions about the webinar to webinars@javisjones.com Should be really interesting
-
Unfortunately this seems to be the modus operandi for Kurv. Javis I hope your feeling 100% again. Looking forward to the webinar
-
Tony... I don't think this webinar is sponsored through Kurv.
-
I would also recommend signing up for this webinar: http://www.3d-coat.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=3696 The price is extremely reasonable and it is hosted by Javis Jones, the author of The Official Guide: Voxel Sculpting Characters DVD and the Voxels Video Manual on the 3D-Coat website.

This 3DC and internet stuff just keeps getting cooler all the time. Looking forward to the webinar

DVD (Voxel Sculpting Characters) Release Discussion thread
bisenberger replied to Javis's topic in General 3DCoat
The link from the announcement area for the DVD discussion thread is broken. Sounds like Kurv has some real problems with internet delivery. It has pretty much consumed this thread. I was hoping for more discussion about the content of the DVD. -
It's not voxels, it's a reference mesh. Woah! never mind there is Windows>Popups>Sub-Objects that list the objects. It has an eye symbol that can be used to toggle the display of objects on/off. It just doesn't show up in some areas by default. Man 3DC is cool! it has everything you just have to look and play Haven't played enough yet to find a way to change the transparency or color of reference mesh yet though....
-
When working with a reference mesh that contains multiple sub-objects is it possible to hide and/or remove the reference mesh and all of it's sub-objects at once? Is it possible to change the color and transparency of a reference mesh?

geothefaust.........I seen you have another training DVD on Kurv Sculpting and Retopologizing in 3D Coat. I didn't see this mentioned anywhere else. Here's the link: http://www.kurvstudios.com/3D-coat/sculpti...opologizing.php Does this show the workflow for baking high detail into the low poly retopo mesh? -
Wow super cool Nurbs are quick and accurate and now they will be easy to paint
