  1. ZB has it and it's very useful... Creased Edges: This will maintain the creased edge when smoothed out. thanks h/
  2. Well that's a limitation to the smooth for voxels... the lowest your voxels.. the smoothier and indeed destryoing all details.. BUT a too high voxel .. and the smooth is almost inefficient.. so it's directly realted to the Voxel density me think... am I wrong...?
  3. please read my post again.. I am just saying I use Pscan to do the same.. then I mport the model as Voxel in 3D coat for retpo.. that's what I said.. nothing more.. and the results I get from it are 100 miles superior.. check it here.. http://www.agisoft.ru/products/photoscan/standard/ DL the demo and see by yourself..
  4. you can do the same in 3D coat... are you sure you posted in the right forum..? anyway, I tried 3Dcatch... low result.... I prefer Pscan... a little money, but worth it.. h/
  5. yes indeed.. I upgraded too... not to forget the retopo room... h/
  6. cool info... I wish I had a wacom... hehe
  7. check here for Manifold... scroll a little down the page.. http://www.shapeways.com/tutorials/fixing-non-manifold-models
  8. it happen to me also..no matter what I always get a sharper edge than the normal brush... even with faloff at 100%

  11. typing UV map does not work Greg... at least here from Firefox..
  12. hey thanks for the thought.. well it's a scanned model.. with wayyy too many islands to do do... hehe.. BUT on a note, I loaded the map in 3DCoat, did an export diffuse map, and magically 3D Coat took care of it... (I had set padding to 1) Thanks h/
  13. well yes I could do it in Modo, but it looks the border size I define is not taken into account, and so it does it toooo much.. heh Anyway, Thanks h/
  14. hello... no what I mean is to expand each uv island, but on the map itself just a few pixels.... not touching the UV's... thanks h/
  15. Hello, when you search this forum, you have to enter words with no less than 3 letters... pretty bad if you are searching words like "UV" Can we reduce it to 2 letters..? Thanks h/
  16. Hello... Is there a command in 3D coat to expand the UV seam on a map that I got that badly needs it... (the map is from another app.) Thank you h/
