  1. Thanks for the quick reply. I thought it is that option because I do see the other painting modes. So this one is the only one it has to be. But to be sure I'd ask.. But is this the best option to paint displacement? Peace, Rich_Art.
  2. Any news on piggy?? Peace, Rich_Art.
  3. Hi All, Pavel Zoch (PZDM) told me that it is best to paint with Micro Vertex if you want a displacement map and that Per Pixel Paint is more suitable for low poly objects. I don't see the Micro vertex option in 3DC. See image, which one is the Micro Vertex option? The only one I can think of is the "Auto retopo and paint" option. I can't find the answer in the manual or here on the forum. Thanks. Peace, Rich_Art.
  4. Thanks guys useful info. Yes reference is important indeed. I never start a new project without study. Peace, Rich_Art.
  5. LoL same for me. Indeed the autopo could be the way to go. I need to experiment more with the autopo to get good results. To learn where to draw lines etc. Peace, Rich_Art.
  6. Nothing wrong with your fun... Peace, Rich_Art.
  7. yeah that is my problem as well. When the mouth is open it is hard to re-topo. When it is closed I need to open it in (my case) Cinema4D. I would like to know how others approach this as well. Peace, Rich_Art.
  8. Cool. IS there a connection to Cinema4D in the pipeline as well? Peace, Rich_Art.
  9. Thanks for all the tips guys. Here is an attempt to make some lips. It goes easier now with your help. Peace, Rich_Art.
  10. I read all those cons and pro's regarding Zbrush. And all kinds of vids from R4. Don't forget the Price. It is $700.. 3Dcoat is $350 in 10 days. I think, when you look at the price, you may expect more tools etc from Zbrush. 3Dcoat is great and not too expensive. Even for me it is affordable (as a hobbyist). Can't say this from Zbrush. Anyway, Zbrush looks cool, if it is better than 3DC.. I can't say because I don't own Zbrush. In the end it all depends on the creativity of the owner. Peace, Rich_Art.
  11. Wow great characters. As what greg said, I like this type of characters more than the realistic ones. Peace, Rich_Art.
  12. Ok nice lips in low res indeed . I'll try this later today. Thanks for the explanation. Peace, Rich_Art.
  13. wow cool model. Peace, Rich_Art.
  14. thanks. Yeah I noticed the nasty 6star as well. O well, back to the retopo room and do some clean up. Time to UV unwrap it. I'll give 3DCoat a try. Normally I use UVLayout for uv unwrapping. Thanks for the comment. Peace, Rich_Art.
  15. Hi All, Today I had some time left to make and retopo a head. I really like the retopo tools. fast and easy. Peace, Rich_Art.
  16. Nice looking. Thanks for sharing. How do you do the retopology of the added meshes? (eg body Armour en smaller parts like the bullets) Peace, Rich_Art.
  17. Cool they look nice.. Thanks. Peace, Rich_Art.
  18. Thanks Greg. I'll give it a try. Peace, Rich_Art.
  19. Yeah I mostly model with the mouth open. In 3Dcoat I have problems to sculpt a nice mouth. Peace, Rich_Art.
  20. Hi all, What is the best way to make lips in the voxel room. Which type of brush etc.. I have a hard time to make lips with a nice sharp edge on the upper lips. Peace, Rich_Art.
  21. Thanks for the info. I use Vray and C4D so it was more a "I wanna know" question. It is Rich_Art. My name is René Rijk. Rijk = Rich in English and Art speaks for itself. So Rich_Art it is. Peace, Rich_Art.
  22. that looks great... Which app for rendering did you used? Peace, Rich_Art.
  23. some nice rocks. Texture could have been rougher I think. Peace, Rich_Art.
