  1. @webmaster The Wiki manual link on the Learning - Tutorials page on the official website seems to be broken.
  2. @Carlosan @Andrew Shpagin Yes, in case of V4 version "Show voxels in paint room = Off" This will solve the baking problem for AO and Curvature . But not in 2021!! Turning the option off makes it invisible in Paint-Room, but clearly affects baking. There is an inconvenience of having to go directly to the Sculpt-Room and hide the high-poly mesh directly.
  3. Yes I also get a 404 error when trying to upgrade from my account.
  4. If I upgrade to 2021, will V4 be unusable? I haven't officially upgraded yet, but I've seen the explanation that upgrading the license will make the V4 license deactive After that, will the V4 of this image become unusable?
  5. When importing an externally worked FBX... no response says the file is empty It is not visible when you call it into the Sculpt Room. (The number of polygons comes out as '0') I've been looking around the forums... I tried various settings when exporting to 3dsMax. Various FBX versions Binary or ASCII type Nothing worked for me... Solutions and bug (?) reports When importing a file in FBX format, if there is a language other than English (Korean language in my case) in the explorer path, there is a problem that it is not loaded properly. The strange thing is that OBJ loads just fine. (So that issue confuses me even more :p) This symptom is the same for V4. I don't know if I should call this a bug If there are users who are experiencing the same problem as me, please check if the file path is alphanumeric. :q
  6. On the 2021 B55 still see AO and Curvature baking strangely. I also checked in V4. The problem comes out the same as in 2021. (I remember it wasn't like this before.) I searched the forums to see if I had done something wrong. I came across what Carlosan wrote. [ Show Voxels in Paint Room ] The problem seemed to be caused by that option in the paint room. When I turned off the option, I confirmed that baking was done normally in V4. (It's blurry, but it's baked.) Will 2021 be the same? No, even though that option is turned off, it still bakes strangely. Just in case, I went back to the sculpt room and hide all the high poly meshes before baking. This time it came out fine. // conclusion in the 2021 version [ Show Voxels in Paint Room ] Regardless of the option, it seems to have an effect on baking.
  7. Wow this looks like a really cool feature. It's like finding a treasure in a warehouse haha
  8. Crashes in Face Selection mode. 1. Uncheck Ignore Back Face 2. Choose Face selection mode 3. default selection mode (Rectangle) or Square lasso 4. drag it.... 5. crash :p Causing issue 3D Primatives Sphere : Cube projection Cube dounut --- In addition to the ones mentioned, other Primitives have also been confirmed to occur during editing.
  9. The node system is included in the beta version. https://3dcoat.com/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=general:sculpt_workspace:shaders&s[]=node But there is no information on how to use it. I've looked through the documentation, but I can't figure out how to use it.
  10. This is the image with the Environment map replaced. It looks bright even at the bottom
  11. Double click on that icon You can see the light mode change. Edit 1 ) If that's still not enough, try changing the Environment map to a bright map.
  12. Oh, no need to press RMB I was wrong. Thank you It seems to be removed if I use the 'Clear points' tool when 'Points/Faces' is enabled. I didn't know there was such a thing as it was on the bottom. Is this feature what you were looking for?
  13. Try pressing backspace while holding down the RMB button
  14. Hmm... My home computer is fine. The problem seems to be with the company's computer.
  15. After changing the company's computer, I am using V4 and 2021 Beta versions together. In 3DC B54(Win) version, "Menu item not found: FillByVoxels" appears in a very short moment at the bottom of the screen and there is a lag. V4 and B52 versions do not have this problem. This is happening with the B54 version. Re-installing B54 shows the same symptoms. ▼When running with B54 version, this window appears. I haven't tested the 3DC for a while, so I'm not sure if the computer before the change also showed this problem. Guess I'll have to go home and check it again on my home computer.
  16. I think Carlson was saying to the 'Toggle Freeze View' in PaintRoom The Freeze brush used in SculptRoom doesn't have that option. I don't know if there is an answer you want. Here's what I've learned while using 3DC. Affected by the strength of the freeze brush (I think it's called Degree). Unfortunately, the pen pressure of the freeze brush is affected by the size, but this degree does not seem to be affected. The same goes for the 2021 beta test version. As far as I know, the only way to do this is to hold down RMB and adjust up or down or by typing the '+,-' keys on the top of the keyboard. If the problem is that the color of the freeze please follow to the image below. Layers in 3DCoat store a lot of information. (That's why I often get confused when I learn...) You can apply the color information of PaintRoom and use it in FreezeTool or Pose tool's area. TIP) Clicking on the layer while holding down Ctrl will 'freeze' the non-paint area.
  17. it won't be exactly the same This can be done in Sculpt Room using the Fill with mesh layer (=Coat) of the new curve toolset.
  18. When using Stencils in Paint Room The Erase tool doesn't seem to have Cube Mapping applied. (Erase by pressing Ctrl in Brush also shows the same problem.) I set it to 'Cube Mapping', but it works with 'From Camera'. The V4 version also shows the same problem. It seems to be a fairly old problem, so I'm confused whether this is a bug or the way the Erase tool works.
  19. Oh, i can't see Edit button.. //// Yes, that's right. As Wizardkiss and gbball said In the case of Blender, use Shift to adjust the value to 'X0.1'. In fact, even in 3dsMax, I often used the 'X0.1' value for fine-tuning rather than adjusting it with the 'X10' value.
  20. It is mainly used in combination with a Slide Parameter and 'Ctrl' or 'Shift' or 'Alt'. This setting is slightly different for each tool. Usually, it changes the numerical value of about 'x10' by combining it with a specific key in each parameter adjustment value set by default. 3dsmax as an example... - x10 (hold Ctrl) - x1 (Default) - x0.1 (hold Alt)
  21. Is it possible to make the [Cut Curve] tool and the [Smartretopo_Loft] stroke not affect the Ghosting Object-(mode: Don't Pick / Don't Act)? I want to create a curve only in Unghost Object
  22. Yes, it is good to enter numerical values with the spacebar, and it is useful whenever necessary. However, as I mentioned in the previous comment, when I have to work with ambiguous numerical work that I do not know, I often need a fine-tuning function. Here's one example situation you need. After creating a specific object, I want to make it a Spline, so I am setting it up. At first, you can adjust the numerical value by dragging it, but there are situations when it falls short or exceeds the desired value. In this case, the only solution is to directly input the numerical value. Of course, if you keep trying, you'll find the value you want one day... But keeping pressing the spacebar until you get the desired result is too painful and takes too long! I'm talking about the need for fine-tuning in the middle of this process. First, Adjust it as close as possible to find the correction you want, and then use the spacebar to find the correct value.
