Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted May 19, 2014 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted May 19, 2014 Polygroups in ZB look much like what we have in Voxel Layers, now. So, I don't understand how they could help in this regard? The main problem, IMHO, is how the splines in 3D Coat handle corners. After talking with Stas, it sounds like Andrew tasked the new programmer to try and solve this. Can't wait to see how it comes out. Maybe a dedicated BEVEL/CHAMFER tool, that lets you use profiles, just like the new selection profiles in the Pose tool.
Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted May 19, 2014 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted May 19, 2014 ....after all, bevels go with Modeling like milk goes with Cereal. Hey, that's a novel new name for a cereal....."Fruity Bevels!"

These panels are defined by the different PolyGroups or visible polygons. ------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.zbrushcentral.com/printthread.php?t=99157&pp=15&page=11 and http://www.zbrushcentral.com/printthread.php?t=39017

But yeah...that looks cool. Maybe a dedicated Bevel/Chamfer tool is in order? With the same spline profiles available in the Pose tool?
