Drifting Workspace. Uncontrollable!

This morning 3d Coat workspace drifts to the left out of range.

Can't get it to stop moving so I can work.

Reboots, unplugging hardware. won't stop drifting.

The whole canvas space moves to the left and keeps going.

Ugh!

Anyone?

Hey Mitch! Sorry to hear the trouble.

What is your hardware you're unplugging? What input devices do you have? Do you have multiple mice plugged in at one time? Does it happen with a mouse, stylus or both? What is your stylus manufacturer? What build of 3DC are you using? What's your OS?

Try deleting the configs:

UserFolder\MyDocs\3D-Coat vX\

There are a few files there prefixed with "Options_", back them up and delete them (or just move to a different folder). One of them could be corrupt, likely the Options.xml file.

I'm past it now, but I often get strange behaviors that don't make sense.

Today I can't grab points in the Retopo room

I'm running 3D Coat 4.1.04A (DX64)

My Specs.

Cyber PowerPC

AMD A10-5750M APU with Radeon HD Graphics 2.50 GHz

16 GB RAM

64 bit Operating System x64- based processor

Sorry , this wont help, but you may find it amusing... I had a similar thing......what it turned out to be after 10 minutes of frustration, was my space navigator mouse leaning against the top corner of my keyboard.....DOH!

Yeah I had that happen too, also with a second mouse (I have two mice attached, for ergonomic reasons, plus my wacom). It was really annoying to troubleshoot, lol.

Thanks for your specs. It might help! I would try the latest build of 3DC, I'm almost certain that your issues wont happen there, especially the inability to grab vertices.

Appreciate it. I was overlooking not having my proper layer selected.

THis is where I got my latest download.

http://3d-coat.com/download/stable-release/

Is there another spot I should look to for latest latest updates? :)
