Wings3D file import

It would be nice if 3DC had the ability to import Wings3D native files... Is there any possibility this will happen in the near future?

As you know ... I use Wings3D a lot ...

But I would not really want Andrew to write a parser for Wings3D format.

It's too easy just to pick a model and export to OBJ. Andrew has something

fantastic going here with 3DCoat and we gotta afford him the time to do DEEP

exploration of new stuff like VOXEL sculpt w/o having to attend to somewhat

trivial details like handling trillions of file formats. File formats is a NO-WIN situation

if you start handling lots ... the end will never be in sight. Peope will just expect

more and more formats.

Of course you are correct.... Once Wings3D file format is added someone else will want Blender, Vue or Cinema4D....

So I agree his fine efforts would be better used in other directions....
