Andrew Shpagin
set lower resolution for microvertex painting. If microvertex resolution is much bigger then voxel resolution facets will be visible. You may increase mv resolution later when need. Advanced Member splodge Posted January 30, 2010 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted January 30, 2010 I tried setting a lower mesh resolution in the merge panel but it didn't seem to have any effect. But taking your advice I then decided to try a different approach and increased the voxel model's resolution (Inc Res) to 4x and that fixed the problem. Obviously took much longer to bake but the resulting model was nice and smooth.
