Or pick a layer mode that has a transp option. This is important for games to be able to preview models with transp ,so if this feature is there please let me know. Thx in advance. Advanced Member ghib Posted December 10, 2010 Advanced Member Report Share Posted December 10, 2010 +1 You currently can't paint transparency to a layer (like you can in Mudbox SAP 2011 which is brilliant) What you can do is collapse all layers base layer and use the eraser tool. Depending on your graphics card you might get decent transparency results. It's not ideal but for the time being it works. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
philnolan3d Posted December 12, 2010 Report Share Posted December 12, 2010 You can paint transparency just by erasing on layer 0 or erasing on a layer and hiding layer 0.
