  1. hi, geo....it has many options of various formats to export in..and it has script import...(it also has a great timeline)...and if nothing else maybe you could get it from the web html export option....., it exports model and script data, so I bet the motion files would be in the script export..., ... I have version 4, and haven't upgraded to version 6 yet, but I'm sure version 6 has even more export options than version 4. here's the link ; http://www.reallusion.com/crazytalk/
  2. I imported an image of my 3DC sculpted model into CrazyTalk 4, and thought it was kinda cool, so just wanted to share this...the model I used for this is a WIP, ( Cartoon Female ; 'Saphire' Cartoon/Anatomy Study ) and I just used the CrazyTalk intro sample for the voice-over, but I was just giving CrazyTalk 4 a test run ,I added teeth to her, and CrazyTalk 6 offers the option of adding eyelashes, etc..........but here it is for now....., here's the vid ; http://s863.photobuc...Anatomy--16.flv
  3. just playing with armor/chainmail concepts.....
  4. hi Phil...I tried to download but an error box popped up ...may want to try easy-share site instead ?
  5. thanks, Rene, Kay...Rene, I adjusted her chest and added some depth to her eyes, etc...(thanks for your input)...Kay, I'm no expert, n still have alot to learn about eyes, but I'll be glad to share my eyes with ya...I made this set as a temp,,when I rework them I'll send you the update, (maybe tomorrow) but here it is if you'd like to use them as is for now.....you can adjust the iris colors via the shaders, but if you want me to send you a particular color, just lmk....I'll try n make a quick vid tomorrow on how I make my eyes.....glad to see you back Kay, here's the eye zip ... http://www.easy-shar...nAnatomy-14.zip here's the shader for the eye (white) and the shader for the iris (green textured) ...you can just unzip them to your shaders folder. http://www.easy-share.com/1908445980/3DC-MHines Freebies-Textures.zip Rene, here's a close-up on the eye area...(still have lots of tweaking to do..)
  6. here's another update...I made her some lips, hair, underclothes and boots (all on seperate layers...the top and bottom lips are on seperate layers and the boot upper and soul are on seperate layers) ...... .still got alot of tweaking to do to her face/body tho.. I also scuplted her entire body, which is now seperated from all the other parts/layers (pants/tops).....so now I can dress her in whatever type clothes that I decide to create, whether it be dresses, shorts, short-sleeve tops, etc..... but here's what I've done so far....
  7. wow...pipes...now that's creative...(and cool ) ....that's why I like hangin out with you guys..so much inspiration here. nice texture.,,guess you could make some streetlamps in the same design. or even an automobile, by using pipes for the stirring wheels, tires, wheels, bumper, door handles., etc..and a body designed from pipes.......yea, a 'piped' automobile..that'd be real cool. if you think you'd wanna try designing one, I can send you a design I have in mind for the body and grill,etc...just lmk.
  8. well whichever route you take, plse post a pic of your finished results ?
  9. just curious...if you imported the pic you've posted here into the 3dc view background (as a material?) would that help to give you a guide/reference that you could flip on/off as needed..?
  10. well i think that looks really nice...and personally I definitely would bring the model into 3dc with those items intact..otherwise you'd be painting in the blind, cause you would need to add dirt, etc., to the pipes, etc., too, wouldn't you ?
  11. lol...it wasn't working the other day when I tried it either, but works now, like you said...now I wish Andrew would provide us with a way that we could send him a donation at least (of whatever amount whoever felt moved to donate could afford) for such a great program as this tree generator ,,like maybe a paypal address , etc.?
  12. looking good....if you make him human, then guess you'll make the front/facial part of his helmet transparent (glass/plastic) ?
  13. hi, Ratchet....I was wondering what would be the best way to work with those edges, so thanks for the tip...I created a test-shader for her clothes ...still needs some tweaking, but I like the velvety/suede look that it has.. here's the zip for the shader if any one wants to try it out, might make a good base if nothing else. http://www.easy-shar...urbyMHines1.zip
  14. here's another shader..(leather/fur)should be better than the previous ones I've posted...this one has a velvety/suede look to it. http://www.easy-share.com/1908411453/Leather-FurbyMHines1.zip
  15. just a small update ...I seperated her shirt, pants and shoes to seperate layers...will seperate her hair to a seperate layer next...I've given her hands some shape, but not detail .... (and thanks for the prompting, Ratchet...I ' created a quad then use the button "add quads", with a test object last night, like you suggested...will keep exploring it further
  16. hi, Ratchet....where's your image(s) ??...I hovered my mouse over the blank area where your image should be, and a link icon showed up, but it only opens to the front page of an image storage site....
  17. hi Richard ....great sculpt...nice form/shape.......especially like the cloth shape/folds....look forward to seeing him painted.
  18. thanks, digman...yes I love voxels...am totally addicted, lol...but I've had 3DC for a few months and haven't even been inside the retopo room yet .. .well i glance in there every now n then, but I'm just not ready for that yet,,,,,that'll be something else to look forward to, tho.
  19. started this one from scratch, using the vox 'sphere' tool.....just playing really, (but also learning, as always)..she is a cartoon, so her porportions are not meant to be completely realistic, of course, and this is just the base foundation..I'm sculpting this one from a cartoon character that I created from my imagination, no ref pics....I've started detailing a long-sleeve shirt on her, but haven't decided on its length yet. ...her belt and beltloops are sculted on seperate layers....haven't even started on her hands or her back body section, or adding cloth wrinkles, etc...so have a ways to go yet...but thought I'd post it for now.... (ha, i just noticed her pupils are floating away from her eyeballs, lol...i'll fix that )
  20. hey, for those that didn't know about this already, just wanted to mention the options to change the colors for the 3DC UserInterface....I just picked some random colors to test with, and may adjust some of the color options again later,,but just thought I'd post this for now....for those that don't already know, just go to 'edit' , then click 'preferences' ..then just start clicking on the color bars that you want to change..and the main sections won't change colors til you click 'apply', so you won't see the color change until you do that...be sure to save your settings when done...and changing the colors doesn't hog any extra resources or alter the functioning of 3DC in any way (on my pc ,at least) ..anyhows, just thought it was neat that we have the option to edit our 3DC UI (thanks Andrew ) (I changed the 'highlight' color option to yellow so that it would show up better)
  21. that looks great !!...love the cloth texture. that grass looks so plush..I've got carrarra, but apparently need to spend more time learning it than what I have. great job all around .. (if you're sure that you've finished this one, don't forget to post this finished image in the 'Finished' Gallery, too)
  22. ok, some progress, finally...it's still rough, but I'm not finished with it yet..
  23. great all around form/colors/texture ..is it a real type of fish, or fantasy ?..if real, what type fish is it ?
  24. the vid was great..the speed is good for a timelapse......I learned alot from watching it.....I can always run it thru a vid editter if I wanted to slow it down. great job
  25. great sketch to vox capturing...looking forward to seeing this progress..
