Rich_Art replied to Andrew Shpagin's topic in New Releases, Bugs Reports & Development Discussion
When I use the Scratches brush in surface mode, I get a circle with every stroke. See image.. I use the 3d-Coat-V35-04D-SIMP32 version. Peace, Rich_Art. -
I like the ZB version the most... Peace, Rich_Art.

Yeah I've seen some nice work on the zbrush forum indeed. Welcome aboard. Peace, Rich_Art.

I now have an Ati 7900GTX and never encountered any problems with the ati drivers. I guess I was lucky. Any way, thanks and I'll think it over and make my decision at the end of this week. Peace, Rich_Art.

LoL, yeah I know about the buggy ati drivers indeed. on the CGTalk Cinema4D forum there are multiple topics on the buggy ati drivers. For 99% I've made a decision to buy the Nvidia 470 card. 1% keeps me from buying at the moment. Although I read more and more about the driver problems with the ati, so my guess is that I'll buy the Nvidia any time soon. Thanks.. Peace, Rich_Art.

Nvidia is great indeed but the noise and heat are not so great. I'm still unsure which card I'll buy. A Nvidia 470 or an Ati Radeon 6870. For 3DCoat the Nvidia is the choice to go for but my main application is Cinema4D and that runs fine with Ati. Cinema4D does not support cuda.... Peace, Rich_Art.

That looks cool.. If you like this kind of buildings, you should take a look here, http://www.texturemaat.co.uk/forum/ All done with Cinema4D but a good recourse for this type of models. Peace, Rich_Art.

Cool.. The brush feel can be approved indeed. If I sculpt with Sculptris it all goes so smooth. It would be great to see this in 3DC as well. Peace, Rich_Art. -

Wise decision. I just like to read about updates in this thread. Peace, Rich_Art. -
That looks very nice although I wouldn't use 3DC for hard surface modeling myself. Peace, Rich_Art.

To understand this correct, Surface mode is for adding final details? I thought it was the other way around, Starting in surface mode for quick sculpting and finishing up with voxol for fine detail. I'm wrong then..... Peace, Rich_Art.

Thanks for the info. The character is great. Peace, Rich_Art.
