Looks great so far I would pinch some of the wrinkles so they are not so rounded I hope you are going to offset the symmetry so it is not so asymetrical..I'am just picking of course.. I hate this new forum format what happened to the old one..

Thanks, I retopoed , then I used cloth ,pick from retopo , subdivide it a couple of times and then sculpt. I did not use the start button to make it drape..

This is a character I'am working on for and intro for a movie company.. All the clothes were created in 3DC voxels I'am going to use a different body for the character but will paint in 3DC.

I'am getting this kind of gimble lock with the scrape tool in voxels where the tool point wants to go someplace else.. I don't get it with the others, just scrape tool. I have symmetry on anybody else have that problem?
-
Where do you increase the density of the mesh when you got it in Sculpt mode? Mind you this is not in voxels.
-
Chris, well right now it is in Voxels as you can see, I want to go from there to paint and sculpt. You do need to retopo if you are making a new object to sculpt such as a shirt which i just did. All I had was the body. Ok, so I do need to retopo the shirt as you say. All I want is the shirt to sculpt and paint on so how do I get it from voxels to there was my question ? Thanks

Preventing /repairing holes in thin voxel walls v.3.0
Scott Padbury replied to Art4med's topic in General 3DCoat
I like that.., nice way of putting it.. -
Okay, I retopoed to get the shirt. How do I get the shirt to sculpt and paint? Do I have to retop again? I'am also doing a pair of pants the same way, I noticed that it came into voxel with the shirt which I have already done. How do I just get the pants only? Do I have to delete the shirt topo? Any help would be great thanks? Also still having problems around the face area all openings are closed.

Sounds great, thanks Andrew!! Would closing the holes in Lightwave fix that for now?

Memory management tuning and increasing stability
Scott Padbury replied to Andrew Shpagin's topic in Common workflow
I build my own computers and I have never had any problem with the 3gig switch and have used it for years if you know what you are doing. It should have know effect on hardware you have another problem if you get burned out memory. -
Never Mind I think I have got it..

I'am loosing alot of the object when I import the object from lightwave it is also flipping the normals and weird things happening. It has alot of detail to begin with so I need some help thanks. I forgot to add that it has not been uvmapped.
