Member steveFromUK Posted July 22, 2014 Member Share Posted July 22, 2014 (edited) Hi, When editing the curve scaling a point does not update instantly. I'm having to move a point for the last scale action to update. (see video) Of course I'm a newbe so is there a setting I'm missing Cheers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhgECUosBD4&feature=youtu.be Edited July 22, 2014 by steveFromUK
Advanced Member Hammers Posted July 24, 2014 Advanced Member Share Posted July 24, 2014 I posted the same issue a while back too, also a slightly paranoid n00b. But it looks like it's now a known bug that has appeared. http://3d-coat.com/mantis/view.php?id=1530

Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted July 24, 2014 Reputable Contributor Share Posted July 24, 2014 Speaking of the Curves tool, we need to have an option to flip the direction of the model one may use, in the Spline pallet. Like a Dragon scale, for example. If you choose one and the pointed end happens to be in the front, rather than the back, there is no way to flip it, in the Curves tool. You have to merge that object in the scene > then flip it manually with the Transform tool > drag and drop it back into the Splines pallet and try all over again. Big pain in the bumpkis. I've mentioned this over and over for a few years now...but Andrew ignores it...in favor or redundant features like Auto-Pick
