Andrew Shpagin
It is interesting because 3DC will work faster on multiple CPU-s. At least I have got performance boost.

Taros
Is there really a tri-core cpu? I don't know one.
Member pnoland Posted October 9, 2008 Member Report Share Posted October 9, 2008 Is there really a tri-core cpu? I don't know one. I know AMD has a Tri-Core chipset out. I'm not sure if Intel does as well.
philnolan3d
I have read about AMD tri-core's recently. What it is is a quad-core where one of the cores was damaged during manufacturing. Obviously they can't sell it as a quad-core so they just marked down the price and call it tri-core
