New Member hawkman5879 Posted August 28, 2020 New Member Report Share Posted August 28, 2020 I am not sure what is happening here, I started this the other day, opened it up again today and now whenever i try to connect new faces to my retopology, it is a different color with a red line between them.

Even if I delete an old face and recreate it, it is seemingly creating seams that i cant get rid of with clear seams. I just duplicated the layer and it isn't dong it on the duplicated layer. While this technically works I am still really confused why it was doing this to begin with.

Contributor Ctc_nick Posted September 4, 2022 Contributor Report Share Posted September 4, 2022 (edited) I have the same problem now in Coat2022.45 I cannot delete this seams, they appeared randomly. Is it okay to post in an old thread? I think it might be the same problem. Can only repair it with the new join clusters tool. Good thing. Contributor Ctc_nick Posted September 5, 2022 Contributor Report Share Posted September 5, 2022 Hi! I have three UV sets unsorted right now. I did not pay much attention to the UVs because i'm just modelling right now. Sure, take a look. All the best! curve_car_wheel7.3b
Solution Carlosan Posted September 5, 2022 Solution Report Share Posted September 5, 2022 Some faces of Polygroup26 & Polygroup10 are on UVset Polygroup2. Polygroup6 is on UVset Polygroup1 Are not unwraped, so are not visible on UV preview - Select all faces using this command or manually (I unwrapped it before) - Move to Default - Delete unused UVsets Use Joint Clusters to cleanup red lines curve_car_wheel7.3b
Contributor Ctc_nick Posted September 5, 2022 Contributor Report Share Posted September 5, 2022 (edited) Thank you very much for your step by step guide. It works. So I'll pay more attention to UV Sets and their polygroup. Edited September 5, 2022 by Ctc_nick
