I'm new sorry if this is wrong section. I apologize. When I import my sketchup models (exported as obj) into 3dcoat, UV Map Mesh and Paint UV Mapped Mesh it adds faces to my models with are not in the model. I uploaded the image to show off how it is adding new faces and also overlapping faces. What am I doing wrong? I started off with the most simplest of geometry and I'm having nothing but problems with them in 3dcoat :(

Anyone who uses 3dcoat and sketchup I would really appreciate your time and help. I hope someone can help me fix this issue. Thank you all :help::yes:

my models look fine in 3ds max and blender. is it basically its useless to use sketchup and 3dcoat? If such simple geometry is having problems in 3dcoat from sketchup I'm not sure I want to even invest my time in more complex projects. By making it all triangles do you mean cutting a square in two?

is this what u mean by triangulate?
