Contributor 3d_sculptress Posted October 13, 2009 Contributor Report Share Posted October 13, 2009 this is a WIP, of course, so I still have a ways to go. I haven't even started working on his hand section yet, so it's still just a blob right now. I built this in Archipelis, and when I brought it into 3DCoat, I lost the symmetry ...(I don't think that was 3DCoat's fault) but hopefully I'll be able to copy the right side to the left side, if not I may just start it over from scratch. I finally got to watch 'Dinosaur' the other night, (loved it ) and was inspired to create this dinosaur as a study lesson. I'm focussing on the anatomy form/structure first so it isn't detailed, but this is it for now. Contributor Tony Nemo Posted October 13, 2009 Contributor Report Share Posted October 13, 2009 You can make it symmetrical by splitting it down the middle (either in Archepelis or in 3DC) The Symmetry plane will reconstitute the missung half and when you're done , you use the "Apply Symmetry" command.
