  1. Shazam! That was it,everything works fine! And I must say Shader baker is amazing, there is no self shadowing problem at all! thanx
  2. Yes!!!!! 32-bit non cuda works (it was the only one I didnt tried) Now I can test your new features hehe.... I have no antivirus. (I got windows defender but that doesnt count really...) I tried user account thing (was off, turned it on...rebooted...tried starting 3DC to same error message) I don't know if I'm logged as administrator but my user properties have all privileges, and even if I rightclick on .exe and choose "run as admin" I still get the same error message. Anyway I don't remember having problem with 3DCoat installs ever before... I think it has to do with what you did when you setted run as admisnitrator as default....I cant imagine the shder baker or the 3dconexion stuff stoping 3DCoat from loading...I think . I reinstalled Beta L just for fun and everything was fine. I'm using Vista premium Home sp 1 with nvidia gtx260.(someone has those specs here ???) I`ll do a complete format tomorow and report back on this. Thanx again for fast concern
  3. Non-cuda version gives same response: The application has failed to start because it's side-by-side configuration is incorrect .Please see the application event log for more detail. (no event log or crash report opens, where is event log?) rebooting didnt help either. I know what is it, it is a curse...I`ve been waiting for an automated shader baker that could handle multi-millions of polys for like forever and now that there is one...I can`t try it I think I`ll format out of frustration.
  4. It is Vista premium ,toolkit I has always been there, the only thing I don't install is cuda SDk. But,there is one thing......I briefly tried before installing betaM,it's new cuda 2.3 and I had performance problem with it so I reverted back to cuda 2.2...maybe it has left some damage. Cuda 32 bit version also wont start (with error message as stated in my post) I'll try 3DC simple and I'll also try to reboot(I think I havent rebooted for 2 week..) I'll report back in half an hour. (I never had starting up issues with any of the builds since I started with something like alpha24)
  5. Beta 08 M x64 cuda 3DCoat won't start after install. (tried a clean install twice) Windows says:The application has failed to start because it's side-by-side configuration is incorrect . Edit: 32bit ver windows says:The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b). (I thought it would be quicker for you to see it here instead of bug section of forum... )
  6. My jaw is on the ground...I need to go pick it up. Incredibly strong selling point, especially when 3DCoat textured shaders are so easy to do.
  7. Hey,looks nice in Softimage. Can't wait to see it posed and textured the way you envisioned it Keep on!
  8. New occlusion is great! Material distort and this were very clever moves I think.
  9. he posted his uv sheet a few page before dude....
  10. this version is on vitamins the details and colour scheme really pop (stand out). Nice work indeed!
  11. Wow ,I dont speak read japanese but it looks like very good press, with very updated selling points.
  12. only OSx version is downloadable here. Other versions open blank page. Are all version fully uploaded?
  13. well, the title pretty much says it all (when baking voxel sculpt shaders to lowpoly the shadows must not be present) also: if you could allow the use of lasso,rectangle..ect to the Copy Brush it would be a great timesaver. Sometimes you want to copy part of sculpt but dont really want to "paint" it. And while I'm at it here is another one. a "smooth selection" option to the polygonal lasso it would be awesome. (because the "select with curve" is really hard to use) Thanx
  14. He used the first 3 pics to make the object. Then he used the fourth one to add another object (using only one axis). I think Not sure. It is cool because we can replace the grayscale images and merge objects while adding new voxel layers with just pressing enter , so we dont need to restart the tool to nest more objects. It is easy to replace pics but does anyone can tell me how to CLEAR THEM?
  15. I like first shot a lot very good toward the end of the clip. (I'm not able top watch second pass, says its private video)

    WIP

Very cool metal finish! I wouldnt want to get hit by it.
  17. This is why the tittle is "WIP"the corw or joker?(corw being crow here) I think it is a very good texturing test. I like how the lips look.
  18. Welcome! ...you seem to really have a good understanding of the possibilities at work. Very cool doodles! I hope you'll indulge yourself in more voxel fun. Will be watching.
  19. Toggle voxel layer visibility off when importing in retopo.(make it visible again after you've pressed enter)
  20. If you do snap-relax in retopo room it should match back the original basemesh to the voxel higres efficiently.
  21. Amazing! Is everything 3DC? Guns are very crisp.
  22. I think it is what he wanted to achieve as look
  23. Quadrangulation is only very effective from the way I see it using microverts, because you can export mid-hires(or higres) level displaced mesh but you can't from perpixelpainting. It's gonna have a slightly higher polycount than the quadrangulated mesh but if you combine it with a displacement map you'll get a far less messy result than decimation master. But really if you are using only for illustration directly from voxesl-to decimation master way is faster. character rocks btw Are you planning to do a full composited shot with background and all?
