Stepping Wayback

I thought it would be fun to take a look way back at how 3DC (or 3DB) looked back in 2008. I believe this is the first version I started using. Back then the whole program was basically the MicroVertex room.

Change of proportions

With gradient allocation is easy to change proportions of parts of a body.

Is this tool pose ?

How can i use a weight map to do gradient allocation ?

Calculating of global illumination

Global illumination (occlusion) can be calculated and baked to texture.

Where is this feature o_O ?

@Carlosa, Here ya go. It's in the picture.

I was so happy to find 3DCoat as it was a big improvement over Tattoo3D, my first 3D painting program. I still have Tattoo3D on my old windows computer for memory sake. I was very happy with it as I hated 2D uv texture painting...

I'm not sure what you're referring to but I think you mean the Select/Move tool which is currently in the Tweak room. That room is for working on polygonal models from the Paint room. Here's a quick video:
