Carlosan
Please check this - Sculpt room, work on surface mode - Fill with freeze and/or stencil at paint room - back to sculpt, now the surface model have freeze activated - use any tool - in this example extrude tool - fill through a mask: 1 - select freeze tool -> paint using any stencil and then 2 - select fill tool -> feel with freeze
Contributor Malo Posted January 22, 2015 Contributor Report Share Posted January 22, 2015 As far as i know, there is no automasking. You have to do it by painting.

Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted February 9, 2015 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted February 9, 2015 The FILL tool in 3D Coat is the closest thing to ZBrush's Noisemaker, and it's pretty powerful, whether you use it for sculpting on a dense mesh, or wait til you have everything baked down to your low-poly mesh in the Paint workspace (Image-based sculpting, on your normal/displacement map). You may to watch all the videos covering it in the "Paint Tools" Playlist (3D Coat Youtube Channel)
