Member Brui Posted April 12, 2017 Member Share Posted April 12, 2017 I can't seem to find the gradient node?, Where you can position how you want the gradient fill to be positioned. If any body knows the answer please tell me!, Please and thank you!!!
Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted April 12, 2017 Reputable Contributor Share Posted April 12, 2017 Yes. Just as Photoshop has it's Gradient tool stored in the FILL BUCKET tool-group, there is a Gradient option in 3D Coat's FILL tool. You can see it demonstrated toward the end of the video. Guest
I have had this exact same issue. I downloaded my 30 trial on 17 April. In the last couple of days I have painted some simple textures. But yesterday and today I could not work out why I could not fill a texture with a colour gradient. All the videos I watched featured two nodes connected by a line that you could position for the direction of the gradient fill. I couldn't work out whether the nodes were an old feature that possibly was not part of the latest release. Thanks for confirming this as an issue. Shame I won't be able to use the feature in my trial. I was hoping to use 3D-Coat for texture painting. Guest
Sorry, Windows version is 4.7.24 Mac version is 4.7.
Andrew Shpagin
In 4.7.28 gradient controls are visible. But in 4.7.24 they are not. So in Win version it works in Mac - still not.
Guest
Thanks for confirming this Andrew. I will wait for an update and see if I am eligible to download another trial.
