[Suggestion] Auto rotation match while importing to 3dcoat using applink

I have to manually rotate 90 degree everytime importing assets from blender if the Zup coordinate system is enabled.

But blender is a Z up coordinate system, should be a simple fix but making my life a lot easier.

Try changing this in Preferences.

That is exactly my piont, I have to manually rotate 90 degrees If I enable Z-up coordinate system

What I'm trying to suggest was to automate this, see screenshot attached.

Working with Blender, I usually have Z-up turned off and it is work fine.

Why do you need to activate Z-up coordinate system ?

Emmm,  because I swtich between them constantly and the hotkey are different. Consistant hotkey works better for me.

Now it has a new problem, I can seem to turn off Z-up coordinate system. Everytime I send something from blender, it would automatically turn on.

I am using blender 4.0 and 3dcoat 2024.07

Try using stable versions.

I tried deleting the folder, it still automatically checking the Z-up for me.

After you said you couldn't reproduce the bug, I fresh installed version 2024.13(stable)

On fresh new re-install of 3D coat, it does not automatically enable the Z-up but disable it for me. Which means if I was using Z up in the 3d coat setting, sending something from blender (which is z-up as well) will automatically change 3dcoat work space to Y-up, it still does not make any sense to me.

It should stick to the user preference and autotranslate the desired workspace between apps, right?

And this bug has driven me insane... Please help

Tried to repeat the described problem (both programs Z up). 

First, when exporting from blender to coat, the model inported oriented by Y up.

I deleted the Documents/Applinks folder and now I ha ve the same error, automatic switching from Z up to Y up after import.

Try on 3DC do not use Z up importing/exporting when work with Blender.
