philnolan3d Posted March 1, 2010 Author Report Share Posted March 1, 2010 Indeed they can, In fact I normally use Photoshop's default brushes as my default 3DC brushes, I just made a new folder for them in the 3DC Pen tab first: The only way I can imagine using these scratch brushes though is to crank up the Falloff and use it with Stamp mode in the E-Panel. The problem with that is that as you make the brush big enough for any real detail 3DC gets really sluggish. So I think it's best to use this as a mask then you can paint it on with more normal sized brushes.
