Hey there,
I'm looking for information on how to create and import sculpt models and splines. I mean a all-in-one guide for building a custom library with everything.
I'm coming from ZBrush and 3DCoat isn't very intuitive. I clicked "Add," but nothing happened, no message or anything. The online manuals aren't really helpful, and I don't even want to get started on their YouTube channel. Everything is so confusing that it’s really tough as a beginner. I wanted to give 3DCoat a chance.
When i would like to get it ready to be ready to upload to steam workshop the steps shown below in the screenshot dont work for cs2s new system so i cant figure out how to get it set up to publish. I was wondering if someone could help me figure out how to get the textures fixed and imported correctly.
Hello everyone,
I’m excited to share a series of 3 videos on my YouTube channel, where I demonstrate my method for creating a low relief mapped object using AI via ComfyUI and 3D software like 3DCoat.
Part 1: Presenting the final object and explaining its potential uses for machining, printing, or as a 3D object in animation or rendering software.
Part 2: Showing how I design the two images using ComfyUI that will later be used with 3DCoat.
Part 3 : Using pictures in 3DCoat to create low mapped relief.
Check out the first two videos available now, and stay tuned for the final part!

ah, I see the problem now, the other side is asymmetrical
still it should work fine like it does in blender
in blender it doesn't take into account the symmetry of the model
guess I'll need to rely on curve painting
I seem to be unable to paint nicely with symmetry enabled
the software only paints on the rendered symmetrical side of the mesh. So as soon as I paint on a side that culls the other side, it will stop painting, making it harder to have a nice texture on my model.
this is how it looks
Hi there!
Is it possible for example: i paint a blue circle, and then i want to paint some texture withing that circle only, can i lock pixels like i would do in photoshop and paint only on that circle, and also can change the color changing the HUE, or should i paint again with a new color?
Thanks
No problem at all and don't worry, there was no confusion, actually you did what it had to be done in order to share and, mainly, to isolate the issue as you said.
That's the reason I asked you to try the "Clone and collapse": to check if "Clone and collapse" works also with that hierarchy you have in your original file, while "Collapse Boolean tree" fails as you are still saying.
But, anyway, file is in the Devs team, so let's go back to work! ^__^
