Really nice work. Please keep it coming.
  2. That's really annoying. Sorry you're having this issue. I have this happen with PS, ZB, C4D, Modo, 3DC... You name it. Heh. Have you gotten it to work yet? Try making sure to start 3DC with your stylus, and also ALT+Tabbing out of 3DC and back. Seems weird that either would work, but sometimes it does. Especially the latter. I know it's already been said, but worth reinforcing. Once you find a wacom driver that works for you, don't update or downgrade it. Stick with it. I've literally been using the same driver for as long as I can remember. Years at least. It's a real pain when they started updating so frequently, it started "breaking" things and making them unusable. Anyway, I hope it's working for you now.
  3. Hi and welcome! Sorry for the inconvenience, I wish I could help you with it. But I know Andrew can, and I've passed your issue to him.
  4. I agree. The brush engine is absolutely perfect. It's such a wonderful experience painting in Paintstorm.
  5. Chris, David, what's funny is I've had it be hit or miss for me. I mean that, the size of the brush has influence over the depth of the SMats most of the time and other times not. That said, it's been pretty consistent lately, and I agree. It should have no bearing on the SMat at all. Be it applicable or just visual (in the preview window). Only the depth controller on the top bar and the SMats own depth settings should ever control this.
  6. Hi. That's caused by brush rotation, is to help indicate which direction you brush is rotated. You can rotate with 0 and 9. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  7. Hi there, Welcome aboard! It sounds like you're talking about sculpt layers, which is something 3D-Coat currently cannot do. Meshes when sculpted are permanent, there is function at the moment that can have one layer affect another based on it's volumes dynamically. Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're meaning.
  8. I am too, but only sometimes. I'm not sure, but it seems to be possibly be linked to the little preview window.
  9. Hi guys! Thanks for the offers! Last I heard David (CryUnreal) was still looking for content. I will point him to the thread here. Cheers!
  10. Andrew, I've sent you some crash logs for the SMat crash. Let me know if you need anything else to fix it.
  11. I'm getting crashes when attempting to use a SMat. Click the Smat, 3DC crashes. ...And the new AA options with brushes, stencils, etc. is really nice. Thanks Andrew.
  12. Thanks for the new build Andrew! Downloading. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  13. I completely agree. If I were the project manager of 3DC, I would have the developers work only on these kinds of workflow enhancements and bug fixes for a while. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  14. Dang. Sorry Matt. Which build of 3DC are you using? I know you're on a tight deadline, but if you can sqeeze it, zip up the file and send it to me via PM. I'll see what I can do to help.
  15. Absolutely. Just paint the SM on a layer, then go to the layer you want to mask, click on the little arrow pointing downward on the right of the layer name and set the layer you want to be the clip mask (which will be the layer you painted the SM on), and hit Invert Clip Mask. Now select the layer with the SM, turn the opacity depth & roughness (metalness too if you need) to 0%. That will do the trick. EDIT: Of course you can also not turn the opacities to 0% but whatever you like, for some more wear effects, which always looks good. I did a video on the topic here, where I paint my mask to hide something I've already painted and want to rough up. Same principle, but just in reverse. Here's the link:
  16. Good tip Ballistic. Also try converting whatever layer in the Voxtree you're trying to perform Auto retopology on to a voxel layer before running Auto retopology (this can be done by clicking on the S to convert to Voxels, or V to convert to Surfaces). If you need the polygons you can always convert back to surface mode.
  17. There is no "Mickey Mouse" setup here, we've recently updated the main website which caused some links to be broken. That said, every link that Carlosan has provided you works and download as expected. Are they not working for you?
  18. Eek! That's not good. Wonder why it did that to your mesh. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  19. In the retopo room go to Retopo>Use Current Low Poly Mesh Patch your holes Bake the details from the old mesh to the new mesh Paint the former holes over as necessary Hope that helps.
  20. Hi rashedal! That Intel video card is likely the culprit of your troubles. I've had similar issues in the past with Intel video cards. If you could try one more build though just in case that would be cool. Try using the 32bit DX Simple (Non-CUDA) version. But before installing it be sure to uninstall and remove and folders left behind in my docs. Reboot and then install the build mentioned above. Hopefully it helps, but I am not sure. Intel cards don't do week with 3D tools. Good luck! Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
  21. My pleasure. Glad to help. Sorry for the typos, replied from my phone. Sometimes don't catch those things. [emoji14] Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
