  1. Make voxel-primitives in different layers. Subtract the cylinder from the cube. That's all. Or cut out using ctrl + spline ( E panel ( press E ) ) Please post your model again.
  2. The sculpture IS the painting. Use a different colour for every layer. Use the function copy to apply a thin layer of color.
  3. One important source of information on these particles is cardiac pacemakers. Millions of these are installed in people, many of whom take trips on jet planes. They record any irregularities in the rate at which they trigger their pulses, and this information can be examined when they return to ground. These errors, among airline staff, do correlate with solar activity levels. There is also another 'down to earth' problem with these solar storm particles. Whenever computers crash for no apparent reason, some new studies suggest that these energetic particles are to blame. With more components crammed onto smaller chips, the sizes of these components has shrunk to the point that designers are now paying close attention to energetic particles from solar flares. These particles invade the manufacturing plants for these sophisticated computer chips and cause problems. The American Micro Devices K-6 processor, for example, was designed using SEU modeling programs. Because this background even at ground-level cannot be eliminated by shielding, and because it is ubiquitous, it may prove the final, ultimate limit to just how small, and how fast, designers can make the next generations of computers...http://www.solarstorms.org/Scomputers.html
  4. So will you share your wisdom or is it a riddle?
  5. Like in mesheditor ( or photoshop) pass a filter over the object, smooth, fractalfilter, etc. It is a kind of lazy luxury but sometimes very handy.
  6. Because I installed 3.5,1 on my D: volume, while 3.5 is installed on my C: volume, both ended up asking for my serial number. I forget where I have that one! Please help. O and my work computer is not online.

  8. Textures were noticable funny indeed, story sublime.
  9. Always thought I had to do the retopo stuff to paint my complex models!! Then they always end up missing little things.
  10. Happy to hear all these good developments, I just love to be able to spontaneously throw clay and paint it right away. The autoretopo makes it possible to do this quite fast without too much knowledge and finetuning I believe. The trick seems to be how to retain the sharp edges and fine tails in the model?
  11. http://www.incendia.net/wiki/index.php/Fractal_Types
  12. I find it so very useful the ability to use the reduction brush in sculprtis to "paint in" my poly reduction for 3D prints that call for a limited poly count. And hollowing an object quickly for a watertight thin-walled 3D print, so fast, so easy; grab/reduce/etc. Interesting, Thanks!
  13. Let me know if you succeed, maybe post a render here? (3D coat can import many usual 3D formats in the voxelroom btw) The calculation of objects has become quicker in Incendia and the objects less huge.
  14. Happy birthday I hope you will get all the presents you wish for.
  15. That is so cool, finally a managable 3D fractal program.
  16. I made this with the new version. Everything gets better.
