  1. That's quite a page. Thank you for sharing all these links on anatomy.I've been honing my anatomy skills recently and any resource is appreciated.
  2. I just have to comment on how well "Interpolate" works now. This is a huge improvement.Thank you.
  3. updated to 05 but have this same problem getting mesh back to Zbrush.
  4. Not sure but you may have to change the extrude direction to Vertex normal.Located at top. Also don't forget the ignore back faces setting in E-panel.
  5. Another option is to use the pose tool-select with pen. This way you can paint your selection as you wish.It also respects alphas. http://www.screencast.com/t/JHHYrGlj
  6. There's a problem when using sketch tool and e panel rectangle and other non brush tools.Start with default sketch go to rectangle selection and subtract part of cube, then drag out selection again. It fills in parts of planes. Also undo does not work. 3.5.26 cuda DX64
  7. Radial Symmetry Phil, not sure what you got going but I just posted a video in the tutorial section that may help you.You may already know this.... but that's all I got.
  8. Just a quick tutorial on how to "fake" Radial Symmetry in 3DCoat until we get this feature implemented. Not a perfect solution but it may suffice for some situations. To see results in real time, uncheck-Voxels-incremental render in top menu. Also when you're finished you can right click in Vox-Tree and merge subtree if you want. Hope this is clear. My link
  9. I agree. For now the work around is to use Pose tool-select object, then you can transform as you say.
  10. Have you unchecked "Draw from first point" check box? Also sphere extrusion parameters.Look at tool options. Maybe I misunderstand.
  11. Would be nice to have a "Clear all planes" button in sketch. Also invert option toggle. Also the ability to move E panel selections like circle and rectangle.X-brush uses the space bar for this.
  12. It's nice to wake up and find a new build waiting for me.Thank you.Been looking forward to trying the new sketch tool improvement.
  13. [quote name='wailingmonkey' "might also suggest that some of these brushes are just begging for a more robust 'interpolate'(smooth stroke) capability...something closer to the power of Zbrush's lazybrush for speed and falloff/strength." I agree wailingmonkey, a "lazy mouse type function is sorely needed in Coat.It is number one on my request list.I occasionally use "lazyNezumi" for more precise strokes, but it can be a pain to use as it is not fully integrated in 3DCoat.A repeat stroke function would also be a nice addition. Just one more thing; How's the radial symmetry feature coming along Farsthary?
  14. Well in the curves tool options pallet is translate brush along curve check box.I don't seem to be able to get it to work now.Usually you just have set up the brush first, such as extrude and then go to the curves and check translate brush along curve, but it might be broken.
  15. Kenmo- Cars are somewhat difficult to model in 3d-Coat at this time.Of course it can be done ,but Coat needs more precise controls over the voxel surface in order to manipulate shapes. Some proposals have been made in hopes to improve the ability to control the manipulation of shapes. This car concept was created primarily using boolean operations and the E-Panel.Hopefully in the future we will have more of a spline based or cage based control set to help with more precise adjustments to the meshes.
  16. switch to orthographic mode-go to view-Grid 2d mode-center cube with grid.
  17. This is from Sensable Claytools/Freeform modeling website.
