Member Voxelapocalypse Posted August 9, 2013 Member Report Share Posted August 9, 2013 So, I've seen this done in some of the 3DCOAT Tutorials...but how is it done? (...and hopefully this will not be my most embarrassing question) Thanks!
Advanced Member alvordr Posted August 9, 2013 Advanced Member Report Share Posted August 9, 2013 If by this you mean to simply paint on a 2D texture map, go to the Paint Room, then the Textures menu at the top, then select Texture UV Editor. This brings up a 2D map that you can paint directly on.
Member Voxelapocalypse Posted August 11, 2013 Author Member Report Share Posted August 11, 2013 ...sorry, to clarify, I've seen people drawing lines freeform in the Voxel Room, circling an area of an object, or drawing an arrow pointing to an object for example. Carlosan
grease pencil The ability to draw in and/or on viewports using freehand strokes to form sketches and annotations has many benefits for collaborative communication and planning. not in 3DC, they are using an external app
Contributor ajz3d Posted August 11, 2013 Contributor Report Share Posted August 11, 2013 Try ZoomIt from SysInternals. It's simple, but does its job.
Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted August 11, 2013 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted August 11, 2013 ...sorry, to clarify, I've seen people drawing lines freeform in the Voxel Room, circling an area of an object, or drawing an arrow pointing to an object for example. That is because the screen capture application has it as an option (Camtasia Studio).
