Contributor 3d_sculptress Posted November 25, 2009 Contributor Report Share Posted November 25, 2009 still a long ways to go...stil gotta add about a zillion hairs, lol...and work on his structure and detail alot more, but here it is for now. (comments/feedback welcome) the ears look rather large right now, but after I add the hairs and rework them, they will look much smaller.,
Contributor Tony Nemo Posted November 25, 2009 Contributor Report Share Posted November 25, 2009 Excellent! It does resemble a fox or juvenile somewhat (perhaps a larger muzzle) and the inside of the ears would show pinkish skin.

Advanced Member Calabi Posted November 25, 2009 Advanced Member Report Share Posted November 25, 2009 Looks good, crazy amount of detail. Something doesnt seem right with the eyes though. They either are too wide or the snout width is too small. They are more flush with the snout. http://sibar.files.wordpress.com/2008/10/sm-495-lg1.jpg http://www.boneclones.com/images/bc-024_web-lg.jpg http://animals.nationalgeographic.com/staticfiles/NGS/Shared/StaticFiles/animals/images/800/grey-wolf-snow.jpg And they angle upwards more I think. Contributor 3d_sculptress Posted November 25, 2009 Author Contributor Report Share Posted November 25, 2009 thanks, Tony, Digman, Calabi... Tony ;thanks n yea, I was thinking the same thing about it resembling a fox, so I'll be working towards giving it more of a 'wolfy' structure. Digman ; thanks, I had to take a break from my other sculpts, but I'll be working on them in between this one. Calabi ; thanks..as for the amount of detail, I was experimenting on his hair/skin with some of my new alpha brushes, (got a little carried away, lol) finally decided on using the spike tool for its hair, tho....as for the eyes/snout, I was just roughing the sculpt out, so I haven't started finetuning or detailing its eyes yet,,but I'm sure the eyes will thin out n not be as wide when I do start detailing them,, but I'll probably add more width to the snout, as it seems to make it look like a fox at this point. thanks again for all your feedback

Advanced Member Jake_H Posted November 25, 2009 Advanced Member Report Share Posted November 25, 2009 Looking good - definitly looks like a juvenile wolf one thing though - you may want to make the eyeball larger and recess it back into the socket of the eye and then pull and push the lids over the eyeball.
