    • When I try to merge two objects in the Sculpt work space I'm presented with this error message, but the option does not appear where it claims. Am I missing something?

    • No. Any tool must be used correctly. We have 3 technologies For Retopo. Manual Semi-automatic (Smart Retopo) Automatic (autopo )
    • I agree with everyone here! This request would be a significant change for 3dCoat, as non-destructive software is ideal for production environments. I completely understand that companies like Riot Games have amazing artist working without a non-destructive system in 3dCoat, they have a big budget and a lot of time to make changes. However, in medium and small studios, supervisors or art directors often request live changes, and the ability to connect or disconnect nodes or adjustment layers can make a big difference in terms of budget. That's the main reason why substance is so popular. I think the forum is not the best place to vote for tool requests because most 3dCoat users are not active here. Many users don't even know they need to send an email to request new features or implementations. I remember when Substance was property of Allegoritmic, they had a system for gathering customer feedback on new developments, users can vote for the most important features. And in the end, it paid offf! 3DCoat could implement something similar by dividing requests into areas like Sculpt, UVs/Retopo, Painting, Modeling. To attract new customers and retain existing ones, the company needs to build customer loyalty. That's one of the core principles of marketing. (business moment xD sorry) And lastly, I want to thank the developers for creating such an amazing software! I absolutely love it!
    • Autopo will be used without any issue, the hard part is to learn how and when. This is not a bug but your path of learning the software. It is difficult to help if you don't explain your current workflow 
    • Yeah it's strange. Even if I adjust image so there are no 100% black pixels at all, it still picks dark areas as 100% white for some reason.   Also for some reason when I extrude selection and then undo it, the red selection disappears and image works normal. But sometimes it doesn't happen. Sometimes it happen when I just extrude the image, but when I undo it, the red selection is back. See gif below:
    • im not sure what this means?   are you saying autopo shouldnt be used?  i was only posting a bug with the tool .... not sure what ive done wrong.
    • Yes, I agree with your post. But I do kind of, sort of agree with the no build being available. But IF I was given the option, I would have renewed yesterday with the discounted price. I also understand the environment in Ukraine is not pleasant for Andrew and Pilgway staff due to the war.

    • https://www.artstation.com/artwork/zZOOL People asked about my workflow on Cammy's clothes, so here it is. Yes it's overly complicated, but it works. Keep in mind this is aimed at animation/vfx production pipeline, where the meshes need to be rigged, animated and the details should only be generated with displacement at render time.
    • I missed the sale too because there's no build available, I understand that they don't want to sell the same features to me again, I've had a discussion with sales team. I still think that I should be able to choose if I want to upgrade when my days are up even though there's no build ready. I seriously think this system is kinda frustrating, I would like to upgrade the same month every year if I need to upgrade that year.
    • Hi all, It would be great if the Fill Tool with Pattern Type was not just based on UV's but also had a cube mapping option  Plus - Noise & Gaussian Noise does not appear to have scale options but the others eg wavy, Fractals do? Scale should be an option for all. With some additional options, this would make the fill tool an easy & powerful way of creating smart masks, especially when combined with conditional painting (concave, convex, etc). I have already mentioned in an earlier post that the Gradient Mode needs in addition to start/end points needs some stop point too, as at the moment its a bit unwieldy Thanks
    • Your stencil have Indexed color mode, this is showing bad results. Changing to RGB color mode or 24bits don't show any difference. Sincerely I don't know why the Black areas are take as White value. Black is use to give flat results not modifying the surface, but with this stencil it works inverted.
