  3. About the programmer of MM. http://www.dgp.toronto.edu/~rms/
  4. Think Ipad but now the images are 3D objects projected in air, visible from all sides by moving your head and manipulated by waving a hand. It is not ( or is ) suited for precise constructionjobs, though for artists that like to dance it may sound like heaven. Just daydreaming.
  5. Especially when using Mocap as realtime input!
  6. To have some windows floating and brushes dockable would be nice but right now the interface is clean and minimal, by purpose. It can really only get better from there. The programmer thinks MM should not be too sculpting-centric by nature. Interesting POV. The drag and drop of objects is sort of childsplay, very clear. It's like Picasso throwing stuff from the garbage together to make a monument in bronze. Then the brushing and sculpting and chisseling really is the second step, in the MM approach. I am reading this post from MM forum, very interesting CG ideas on this wishlist: http://meshmixer.com/forum/index.php?topic=402.0 pe
  7. I asked MM programmer about interface, he says it's low on prioritylist because he is making a revolution first now in sculpting! And that meshing around remains the core of MM.
  8. brilliant idea. A sort of poser/meshmix/3dcoat combined
  9. Radial symmetry should not be so hard to implement. It seems Andrew does not know the concept , as used in ZBrush, or does not see the benefits of it yet.It opens up a new way of creating complex shapes in realtime.
  10. More intuitive, that's true, at the same time highly technical.
  11. It works and how. Andrew should see this. Hidden in meshmixer is a fully functional sculptris, with adaptive subdivision, adaptive reduce and refine, 3 kinds of smooth, brushes that react like butter, never intersecting triangles and a perfect smooth feedback. This sculptingfunctions are somewhat hidden inside the interface which is odd. Some genius must have tinkered with it.
  12. Is there a big difference with the free and the pro version?
  13. Nice! Maybe you could melt your buildingblocks together a bit to make it more organic. About inspiration: I prefer Moreau! http://www.mentalfloss.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/Moreau.jpg
  14. If I may say, I've heard, Farsthary is having a very busy schedule lately and will have to struggle getting some sleep.
  15. That sounds way more attractive than apples hypeware. SD, Flash, OS for grownups, sounds great! And your hack of spacepilot is genius
