Reputable Contributor digman Posted August 4, 2012 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted August 4, 2012 I know this has been requested before. Now that the retopo mesh can be auto - transformed when using the pose, move or transform tool it would help a lot to see areas to transformed based upon the retopo mesh shown in the voxel room. What I do now is jump between the retopo and paint room in surface mode till I paint an area that is based upon the retopo mesh. This takes a minute or so to get things line up as you do not see the retopo mesh in the paint room. Once done, I go back to the voxel room and the small painted area is the center point of my move. Having the retopo mesh shown the voxel room would be the most efficient and take out the time consuming guesswork. This could also be used in voxel mode and not limited to a surface mode model... Showing the retopo mesh in the voxel room for both surface and voxel modes could be added as an option to turn on... Picture shows my current way on a simple model... Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted August 10, 2012 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted August 10, 2012 +1. Preferably a wireframe overlay. Seems like Andrew's early screenshots of the feature showed the Retopo mesh in the voxel room.
